Is the yoga working better than the walking pad and the elliptical? If so, why do you think that is? I'm curious as I'm not much of a yoga person.

So first let me clarify - what I am doing is DDPY (or to use their catchphrase) "It Ain't Your Mama's Yoga". 🤣. It uses traditional yoga poses, but adds a little bit more (squats, pushups, resistance training, that sort of thing)

I chose that over the walking & elliptical because it works ALL of the muscles in your body - not just your legs. It's not just cardio (like walking), it uses your own body weight for strength training.

I think they ALL are great and obviously whichever one you will actually DO.... is the right one for you. But that's why I chose DDPY. There's also the FB Community and all of the YouTube videos that go along with it too.

Congratulations! I am aiming for consistency in my movement goals. So far, so good. I lost almost 90 lbs. over two years, and have maintained (withing a 5-lb. range) for a year now. My issue was motivating myself to actually move, for my own health. You've done a wonderful job of encouraging me to stay with it, for which I'm grateful. After being in a wheelchair for a year, from an accident, I'm still trying to rebuild my movement and muscles. So far, so good. I see progress, and I feel more motivated than ever.
